Patrick Gleeson: Lead Vocals and Harmonica: Pat put together a group in 2013 called “62 Blues”. A wonderful dance/blues band with a large following. A restructure of the band in 2016 when 3 musicians decided to try a new avenue resulted in adding 5 new musicians which brought an amazing new sound! Because of the new sound and new members a new name was decided on of “Clean Sweep”.
Pat began playing harmonica the at age of 12. He's played in several bands including his own successful "Baluga Whale" in the 70's in the Bay Area and opened for Leon Russell. In addition, he's played with The Tom Finn Band, opening for Johnny Hiland, John Chipolina Band with Nick Gravenitis, He was one of the founding members of the SCBS Allstars, He's Jammed with John Lee Hooker, Stu Blank & His Nasty Habits, Mike Varney (Shrapnel Records) Ron Thompson & Steve Gomes, Sonny Rhoades, JJ.Malone, Troyce Keys, Ben "King" Perkoff, Mississippi Fred McDowell, and many, many others.
Blues, especially old traditional blues, has been his love since he began his harmonica lessons from a street musician where he grew up in San Francisco. He has a great vocal with that bluezey growl and blows a mean harp with soulful feeling. He is excited about adding Funk and R&B to the band. “Clean Sweep” is the band he's always envisioned and they deliver!
